In 2005, when Pietro Catelli founded “Casa Catelli”, his dream came true. After several years in the Wall Street financial business he moved back to native Tuscany and entered the wine business. Believing firmly in the wine making basics of his father and grandfather, he soon felt his own goal was clear: to develop fruity yet elegant wines, keeping a balance between tradition and modernity. Today Casa Catelli makes wines from selected appellations with emphasis on Tuscany, choosing the best areas according to soil, exposure, microclimate and sustainability. Being passionate about nature, large part of Pietro’s wines are selected from organic farms. Casa Catelli strives to ensure quality by a solid experience in the wine making. The winemaking team works closely with the growers to guarantee continuity of style, and to maintain the distinctive and precious flavors of the indigenous varietals.
